Micromax seems to be preparing to launch a new flagship smartphone - Canvas Turbo A250. According to a tweet by its deemed official insider MMXNewxcaster, the A250 will be the company's first smartphone with a Full HD screen. It is also mentioned that this will feature a quad-core CPU, which is obvious by its flagship status. The tweet doesn't even show any photo of the phone itself, but rather just the stylised name itself.

The A250 will succeed the Canvas 4 A210, which was not as successful as the Canvas HD A116 that was released in January this year. Detailed specs are not yet mentioned but it is clear from the name "Turbo" that it will feature a faster version of the CPU, possibly in the 1.5 - 1.7 GHz range, apart from the higher res display. Android version should remain the same as the A210, but I only hope that the amount of internal storage and RAM should not be compromised. Needless to mention, the company should also not get ahead of itself as far as the pricing is concerned. I'll keep you posted as new details become available.
